Undoubtely it will be one of those 'extras' you get after validation...
I think - and that is subject to a large and vast guesses - that MS will offer 2 types of free stuff that aren't bundled with the OS:
Validated install - Get some basic free stuff Ultimate - Get the whole lot.
More then likely this is subject to the ways of MS which are as vast and bewildered as the rain forest in Brazil ;-) So don't pin me down on it...
With
kind regards, Aprazeth

For the sake of completeness,
Vista InkBall (when TabletPC features are enabled), Spider Solitaire, Hearts, and you can freely download Carioca Rummy (if you have validated copies of XP or Vista).

I think Pinball was introduced in Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95
I
don't really think they will bring it back, maybe it's got something to do with the license agreement (it was created by Maxis I think).
But if they are, I would really hope they revamp the game with Vista graphics like the other games did.

Is Microsoft still listening to its customers? On many blogs and forum you read the wish to include Pinball. For many people it is a must have.
Microsoft please consider.

Well you can just copy the pinball game from XP, but it IS actually a proper store bought game that was slimmed down for inclusion in XP. So, you could always just buy the proper game and get other tables too!

Please see attached. Pinball DOES work with Vista. (-:

Hi!
Its pretty simple: 1) In your WinXP, go to C:\Windows\System32 and copy "mshearts.exe" and "cards.dll". You'll need a floppy or pendrive or something to copy from XP to Vista ofcourse. 2) Just paste those files in Vista in the same folder C:\Windows\System32 and you're ready to start! 3) I dont think this program'll be recognised (it didn't for me) by the "Games Explorer" in Vista so you have to create seperate shortcuts for that
Please note!!: In my version of Vista, I had removed the games from it so I dont know if there'll be another "cards.dll" file somewhere in the same folder. To be safe, copy both to some other folder like "C:\Windows\System" - this way i'm pretty sure that both the new hearts and the old one will lead a peaceful co-existence!

No its not included but dont lose heart! There's a way around it. In fact its SO simple you'll probably wonder why you didn't think of it.
1) You need pendrive or floppy or LAN or watever 2) You need XP
Wat to do? 1) Go to "C:\Program Files\Windows NT" in your WinXP. 2) There'll be a folder called "Pinball". Copy it to your pendrive or watever you're gonna use 3) Paste the folder "Pinball" in "C:\Program Files\Windows NT" in Windows Vista
This game wont be recognised by "Games Explorer" so you'll have to manually create a shortcut to "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball\Pinball.exe"
Thats it! Ready to use!
Enjoy your game!

You'll get Shangai Solitaire, Purple Place (some crazy mind-trip game where you make pies or something), Chess, New Solitaire, New FreeCell, and Minesweeper.

First off, post a new message, don't respond to a dead thread.
Second, yes it does work, put the CD in the drive, follow the setup instructions. If you are having specific problems please post the problems along with your computer make and model number.
